I mean a V12 is kind of like a inline V6 if you think about it, as in its two V6s in a line. But this certainly would not qualify

I'm wondering if by inline v6 he means that it's longitudinally mounted rather than transverse

I'm pretty sure these cars like most AMC cars have in line 6s. My guess is he has heard that h I s car has an in-line engine but dies know what V6 means. Like people that say there car has a v4 because they are used to hearing V6 and V8 do they assume a 4 cylinder must be a v4.

yeah could mean that, I wasn't aware what engine they normally were so yeah possible it is inline 6 and just added the v not realising that it can't be both
